1. Students of Mehr Chand Polytechnic College brought laurels to the Institute by winning 5 Prizes in the I.S.T.E. Section Tech. fest -2010 held on 13th -14th nov,2010 at Rayat Institue of Engg. And Information Technology, Ropar.

- c) Prince Singh and Surinder Pal(Civil Final Year)-2nd Prize in Model Display.
- d) Balbir Singh,Abhimanyn And Sankalp Mishra(Mechanical Final Year)-3rd prize in Model Display.
- e) Abhimanyn Arora (Mechanical Final Year)-2nd Prize in Paper Presentation.
2. Students Participated in INNO –TECH-II held on 18th -19th March 2011 at Pushpa Gujral Science city Kapurthala.

4. Students Chapter in collaboration with CDTP cell of Mehr Chand Polytechnic college,Jalandhar organized “Techno-Cultural Fair-11” on 2nd April,2011 events like Technical PaperPresentation and Model display were shown to Budding Engineers.
5. In the recently held,(8th april,2011) Inter Polytechnic Tech Fest-11 Organized by PTIS,at GNDPolytechnic college, Ludhiana. The Students of Mehr Chand Polytechnic college won 9 pprizes. The compition waz in the category of Project Display and Presentation.
