A cell named “Dayanand Chetna Manch” has been established in the year 2009 with the main aim to impart moral education to the students and make them self reliant, determined and self disciplined soldiers of the nation. Its work includes organizing various programmes and functions to meet its aim.
Its activities include
(i) Celebrating birthdays & martyrdom days of great souls like Swami Dayanand, Mahatma Hansraj, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi and others.
(ii) To organise Vedic Hawan yajnas in college on special occasions.
(iii) To ceIebrate Hindi Pakhwada Week by organising Hindi calligraphy contests, poet recitation and essay writing competitions among the students.
(iv) To organise short term courses on English Speaking, Personality Development etc.
(v) To coordinate activities of Arya Samaj and organise ‘Chetna Shivirs’ and religious tours for the moral upliftment of the students.

This manch encourages and motivates the students to participate in the activities of Arya Samaj Bikrampura (Jalandhar) run under the aegis of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha (Punjab). This Manch is headed by Sh. Prabhu Dyal Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering.
